Combining a passion for community, property and enduring design, Mclean brings over two decades of experience in the real estate industry to the team. From managing high-end retail projects in New York City to fostering collaborative relationships with award-winning architects, it’s his creative focus and client-centred approach that sets his work ethic apart.
Holding a Bachelor of Applied Science from QUT (Construction Management) as well as a QBCC Builders License, Mclean is responsible for overseeing the entire development process from conceptualisation through to completion. With a reputation strengthened by a name that is synonymous in the local property development industry, he is focused on exceeding expectations and providing the highest level of client satisfaction.

OUR STORY
Some stories are measured in years. Others are written into the landscape.
For the Henzell family, the Sunshine Coast has never simply been a place to do business. It has been home, opportunity and responsibility, passed from one generation to the next for almost a century.
1935
When the story began
The story began in Caloundra in 1935, when Roy Henzell Sr entered real estate with a belief in the potential of a region that was still finding its identity.
1946
The belief in the coastline
In 1946, that belief became something far more tangible when he purchased an extraordinary stretch of coastal land. At the time, it was a bold decision. In the decades that followed, that land and the vision behind it would help transform the southern Sunshine Coast and establish a legacy that continues today.

Four generations
Across four generations, the Henzell family has played an enduring role in shaping the landscape of the Sunshine Coast. What began with property and land evolved into communities, neighbourhoods and places designed around the way people wanted to live.
1980s
A vision carried forward
That pioneering instinct continued through subsequent generations. Roy Henzell carried the family’s development vision forward, responding to a changing Coast while remaining grounded in the principles that had guided the family from the beginning: understand the land, respect the location and create something with lasting value.
Today, that perspective shapes Henzell Developments.
